The "Celebrity" of Kobe Bryant

The following needs to be addressed....
"Bryant is ranked as the world's 10th biggest celebrity by Forbes. Bryant was the second highest ranked athlete, trailing only Tiger Woods, who was No. 5"

http://www.forbes.com/lists/2009/53/celebrity-09_The-Celebrity-100_Rank.html

OK, I understand that ESPN now has a studio in LA BUT hello FORBES, LA IS NOT THE ENTIRE WORLD. Kobe MIGHT be the 10th biggest celebrity in LA. And Bryant being the second highest ranked athlete???!!! WTF! I'm going to list off the top of my head athletes that are bigger celebrities than Kobe.....Tiger, LeBron, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, David Beckham. How in the hell is David freaking Beckham not higher than Kobe? I never even see Kobe's face with the exception being a NBA game or SportsCenter. I have lost all respect for Forbes.

Give Kobe his due, but quit worshiping the ground he walks on. Kobe would be lucky to be mentioned in the top 10 best basketball players of all time. TOP 10. Not best ever. A couple years ago he was begging to get out of LA, was a terrible teammate and didn't do jack #### with the equivalent of LeBron's current supporting cast.
What would LeBron do with Dwight Howard on his team? They'd win 75+games and every NBA Finals for the next 5-10 years. THAT is what Kobe having Shaq did for him....and Dwight isn't even as good yet as Shaq was then.

Get YOUR HEAD OUT OF KOBE'S A** people! Kobe didn't tell you all to tell him how his A** tastes. That was Shaq's message to Kobe.

Memo to all actors in LA: Get Kobe's PR people working for you, the results speak for themselves.

Kobe VS LeBron

Kobe vs LeBron?

Kobe can only dream of leading his team the way LeBron is. If you were to have Kobe and LeBron switch teams, LeBron's Lakers would have won 75 games in the regular season. On the flip side, Kobe's Cavs would barely make the playoffs...if at all.

LeBron is posting otherworldly numbers through game 4... AVERAGING 42.3pts, 7.3 rebs, 7.3 asts per game. The REST of the Cavs.... 59 pts, 31 rebs, 11.3 asts per game.

LeBron's current supporting cast is akin to Kobe's supporting cast immediately after Shaq left. And we all know what Kobe did with them lol.

Maybe sch-Mo Williams will decide to finally show up for game 5 so we might have a chance to see how a LeBron-Kobe Finals would play out. Regardless of whether the Cavs lose to Orlando or not........

LeBron > Kobe
